Tim Race and Jack Martin met during their freshman year at Ohio University in Athens Ohio where they combined Tim's love for ambience with Jack's classical cello experience. Through the use of looping and effects pedals the band can create a variety of sounds from blues and jazz to ambient. In less than a year, the band released thier debut CD, In a Great Wave of Horns.
