IF YOU CAN'T CATCH A SHOW.....
author: Gay CataniaIt had been over 20 years since I had seen RT perform and I wished I knew about this CD earlier. Love the unplugged aura and interaction with the audience. His interaction with the audience truly proves what a great word-smith he truly is. Great sound quality. Great songs. Great arrangements of some old time favorites. Not one complaint. Buy it - you will not be sorry!
Hasn't left my CD player in days ...
author: Blair VI'm generally skeptical about live recordings ... so I bought this with some hesitation. But ... RT has put out the best live recording that I've heard in years. It hasn't left my CD player in days ... and I suspect it'll be in my CD rotation for a long time to come. I wonder, though ... how many in the audience actually remember the Lowell George/Little Feat version of Willin'? ;-)
RT Always Great!
author: WD RinkerI have followed Robbin's career since the early years. This by far is his finer work! Robbin on CD, Robbin live, Robbin Live on CD! This is an excellent piece of work. Thanks RT!
WOW
author: Linda GrubbAnyone one who has heard Robbin live knows that this is a wonderful example of what he can do. I have seen him and the band live more times than I can count. This CD is remarkable. Sweet Virginia Breeze on here is one of the best sounding cuts ever.. BUY IT!! you will not be sorry!!
A great mix of "sit back on your porch and drink beer" tunes.
author: Les HileA great live accoustic mix of new and old RT tunes. Anyone who likes RT music will love this CD. Robbin's talent for interacting with a live audience comes through loud and clear. Looking forward to catching RT's concert at Dogwood Dell!
This is RT Live!!!!
author: Nuka Møller LundIf you know RT's music you'll know most of the songs on this CD, however there are some new songs as well. I've listened to RT ever since Two B's and got all his albums, 45's and CD's as well. The interesting thing about this live-CD is that the songs are performed acoustically without a backing-band except for a little acoustic backup towards the end, which sounds awesome btw. Great songs, great atmosphere and nothing like these live-performances made up by the performer and the crowd as well. Having said that I'll keep looking forward to the next studio-CD from RT, 'cause as some musician said - the songs will never sound as good as they do when you record them in a studio. However, that's a matter of taste...
