notes

"Full Moon" is the exciting new album from guitarist Robert Sequoia, featuring violinist Teodoro and other fine Santa Fe musicians. This album stands apart from Sequoia's previous recordings with its percussive up-tempo variety of ethnic world-beat influenced music.

Robert Sequoia began his creative journey as a very young visual artist. After hearing the great Spanish classical guitarist Carlos Montoya in concert, he was inspired to express his vision through music. Sequoia's compositions convey an emotional honesty and sensitivity rarely found in contemporary music. His unique style varies from heart-moving ballads with beautiful, time-enduring melodies, to upbeat, world-influenced compositions. Audiences are consistently inspired by the soothing, harp-like quality of Robert Sequoia's guitar playing and his delicate, fluid touch.

The son of second-generation immigrants, Robert's musical roots go back to his family lineage of Romanian musicians.

  • Love, love, love this music!!!

The music on this cd moves my soul and makes my heart dance. Why is this cd not for sale? I am saddened by this :< I have heard Rober Sequoia perform with the late Ruben Romero over back in the 1990's (when he went by his real name Rob Lieberman)at a concert on Valentine's Day in Santa Fe, NM at a church. He may know me under the name of Nancy Dominguez. He was a student and instructor at the Tae Kwon Do Institute Santa Fe, New Mexico and I met him through Master Walker (Daniel Walker) and James Adams. The name I go by now is Zephyr Grace; my 'nom de plum'. I myself am a musician plus I am a photographer.
