Our first rehearsal was overlooking Copacabana beach from the balcony of Penny and Mat Fawkner's in January 2003. From that high elevation the sound of those old hymns, sung with joy and love, was something I will never forget. We have tried to capture them with all the purity they deserve.

Unrestrained appreciation for this really beautiful treatment of some great Hymn
author: Ian MatthewsUnbridled and hearty congratulations to all involved.. I love the clean clear acoustic sound. The treatment of these old hymns from historical revivals is both fresh and honourable, raw, yet Holy. Loved the voices. Sometimes I felt Appaltion back porch moonshine, evening song... Spanish rural with olives and almonds, Hillbilly country thigh slapping toe tapping, Tony Joe White, Polk salad swamp and the great chain gang gospel choir meets Hendrix finale! Unrestrained appreciation for this really beautiful treatment of some great hymns.
