Playing guitar from the age of seven, music has been a part of Carolann's life from early on. Wounds from her childhood brought on turbulent teens & twenties, rebellion and alcohol, teen pregnancy and an abusive marriage. In the midst of hopelessness, Carolann attempted suicide unsuccessfully. She divorced and faced the challenges and pressures of single parenting. She remarried and gave birth to a son. With the support and encouragement of her new husband, Carolann began pursuing a career in music. A budding career, as the lead vocalist in a country-rock band, two children and a good husband, still could not fill the emptiness that haunted Carolann. She was drawn to Jesus Christ and invited Him to be her Savior. God has filled her with His Spirit and miraculously changed her life by His love and grace. Her passion is to use her gifts to share the life-changing hope He has given her through a vibrant relationship with His Son.
Life-long Minnesotan's, she enjoys spending time with her family, flower and herb gardening, horseback riding, painting, living in the country and of course songwriting. Recording her music has been one of the most rewarding things to her. "Watching God use this music to touch others and draw them to Himself," she says, "has been like seeing Him take the ashes of my pain and destruction and transform it into something that has beauty and purpose. I truly know that my Redeemer lives!"
