notes
The 12th Anniversary re-release of The Holy Ranger's Free Hand plus a very special bonus track. Produced by Victor DeLorenzo of the Violent Femmes.
In addition to Martin Jack Rosenblum, other talented artists who play on this album are Victor DeLorenzo and Brian Ritchie of the Violent Femmes and Michael Hoffmann of EIEIO. Free Hand was Martin Jack's sonic text that followed his The Holy Ranger: Harley-Davidson Poems book which is a Harley-Davidson licensed product identifying the mythopoetic Holy Ranger way of life. The Holy Ranger's Free Hand is the only album sanctioned by America's most famous motorcycle manufacturer at its original release, and the only authentic work of its kind within Motorcycle and Rock and Roll Cultures.
That was twelve years ago. Today here it is once more with a special bonus track, featuring Rosenblum/DeLorenzo in a unique duo performance, remastered by the original engineer, Michael Hoffmann.

The Holy Ranger speaks to the heart of the American Biker
author: Chuck Johnson ... Butler, IndianaThis is one of the best CD's The Holy Ranger has produced. The music takes you on a spiritual ride down Hiway 41 on a visionary Stroker that generates waves of Ranger Thunder as you are Coming Off The Prairie that can only be understood through a knowledge of a Brotherhood Mystery. The key to it all is ... I Got It.
Martin Jack kickstarts a ride through the heart.
author: Black Swamp JournalWhen I first rode a bike cross country there were no earphones, no music but the roar of engine and wind. Martin Jack re-creates the essentials of that trip, but adds the tremendous depths and reaches of his inspired lyrics and singing plus the instrumentation and playing from the Blues Rider Band. Brothers in a posse, screaming across the heartland.
