notes
Rose Cousins draws from the folk tradition of storytelling with honest, compelling lyrics matched in quality by her effortlessly pure vocals. She has the subtle assuredness of a songwriter with a keen sense of emotion and intelligence, poetry and eloquence.
Not only has Rose found a following at home in Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA, she has performed across Eastern Canada, Ontario and New England and has become a favourite at Boston’s Club Passim.
Rose has shared stages with John Gorka, David Francey, Lynn Miles, Matt Mays, Jill Barber, Emm Gryner, The Weepies, Edie Carey, Meg Hutchinson, Rose Polenzani and Mark Erelli.
Watch for her highly anticipated full length record to be released in July 2006.

Rose Cousins...Miles to go
author: chris trapperI was surprised that this is a live recording, because it sounds amazingly clear, and full. The songs are haunting and beautiful, and Rose' voice is otherworldly. Love it, across the board, CT

Can't get enough
author: AliciaI absolutely love this album. I play it while I'm trying to work, and find myself in another world. Each song, with gripping lyrics and powerful vocals, is the sound of truth and life and heartache and peace.
