Bringing glass-hearted-indie-sparkled-alt-country-rock to life...
After a chance meeting between Anthony and John in 2006 (amongst the avenues of Firs), Woody formed as an outlet for them to play music they loved and wanted to hear. Quickly joined by Adam, Robbo and JJ, they started to craft and hone their musical influences into the Woody sounds you're hearing right now.....
Their debut album 'Avenues' is now finished and is available from the Rosco Records online store / CD Baby and all participating online stores.
And for those that want to try and define them....... its like listening to layers of Indie sparkled alt-country rock, tinged with some good old bareass country roots....... pretty much as perfect as it gets!
Being described as sitting crossed legged somewhere between Wilco, Ryan Adams and Tom Petty, Woody are fast becoming one of the most promising and interesting bands around today.
