RORA RECORDS is very proud to present 'TRIP ON ME' the 5th CD from blues rocker RONNO JAXON.
"I got it way up for this one' says Ronno. 'Yeah ... it's a rocker, for sure ... it's also dark & deep and I still get some mean blues licks in there...haha!! I really dig on '60's style music and I hope you can hear it in the CD. I like to keep it simple and straight ahead... so turn it up and keep it up!!"
The set opens with the rocker 'HARD KARMA' pushing some tastey rock & roll guitar and vocals. 'OUTSIDE MAN' captures Ronno's Jim Morrison vocal style nicely with a bitchy Les Paul , Jr guitar tone & lead breaks...awesome!! The title song 'TRIP ON ME' is full of energy and big guitar chords somewhere between the Crue & '80's hair band heaven. Enter the darkness with 'FANTASY GIRL' a '60's psychedelic rock styled stomp leading into the doomy dark metal drone 'TOO MUCH TO TAKE' a hard headbanger's delight!! A more gritty Ronno wails out the boozey 'ONE FOR THE MONEY' in this heavy blues rock instant classic...yeah baby!! 'SEE ME FLY' follows up with more '60's goulish gogo groove...Ronno's word play lyrics are just too much fun. 'SNAKE WOMAN' has all the big crunch guitar & anguished vocals depicting a ' romance that can never be' in a true metal tome. The set ends with the kickass hard rocker 'LIV IT UP' .... now the question is ... does Ronno have a crush on a certain rock star's movie star daughter or is Ronno just hell bent on having a good time ? O hell .. it's probably both!!
