Ron Benoit brings together one of Kansas City's premier rock bands from the 70's & 80's to release the first in a series of CD's sure to please through the ears.
The former lead singer and songwriter for "Passenger", Ron's songwriting talents quickly became an attraction in itself as the group amazed audiences and packed houses with originals and cover tunes from the likes of Led Zepplin, Jethro Tull, and others that most groups only wished they could duplicate.
"ROSES" recreates the magic that originally came to life at Chapman Recording Studios in 1980 when Ron, along with lead guitarist Frank Mendenhall, drummer Gerry Hinges, and bassist Kirk Hittner first threw thier talents at a proffessional mixer.
Fast forward 25 years and you find Ron at the Lake of the Ozarks. Never stopped writing. Life just put things on hold for a bit. The "classic" sounds from ROSES are still available through CD BABY, and soon the long awaited "SO STRANGE" will be here too. Visit "MY SPACE" to get some samples from the upcoming CD, and have fun!
