This was Roger's 1st CD with a label so he chose to record 5 songs of artists who had a huge impact on him, Merle Haggard, Buck Owens, Kenny Hinson, Hank Williams along with 5 songs written by Roger.
"A Bit Like Texas" is a Western Swing song Roger wrote as a tribute to the King of Western Swing Bob Wills from a cowboy's point of view hoping there will be Western Swing music in heaven.
"In My Next Life" was released to Christian Country radio peaking at #24.
