Rod has been writing and performing his songs since the early eighties, but his style goes back to the roots of early folk and country western music. This CD includes instumental backing by finger style guitarist Dorian Michael and members of the Jackstraw bluegrass band from Portland Oregon. Its hard to get bored listening to the variety of music on this CD.
