A couple years ago the music minister at my church approached me about writing contemplative instrumental music for use during our communion services. The arrangements needed to be meditative and to be of songs that would help people focus on the Cross and what Christ did for them. Every month I would write another one and pray that the music I wrote would help lead people prayerfully before the throne of God. At the end of the year there were 11 of them so we recorded them for your use. Whenever you want to be led to the Cross or to the Throne just close your eyes and listen. So smart
author: Bruce BalgaardRob Barrett Jr. really shows his ability to do very deep arrangements around very simple and familiar melodies. In this, he is able to breathe new life into the profound simplicity of these eternal songs. A great doorway to sincere and Christ centered meditation.
CD came in great shape and very quickly.
author: LindaThis CD is a Christmas present for a Christian brother in prison, he heard it and really liked it so I haven't opened it due to prison rules. If he liked it though it's very good because he is a really dedicated follower of Christ.
