The Robert Jeffrey Band's self-titled CD of original music is a fresh blend of southern rock, country rock, and blues.
Robert Jeffrey Carothers is the lead vocalist, lead guitar, and primary songwriter. Band members include Robert's wife and songwriting partner, Deborah Carothers on vocals, Robert's brothers, Jack on keyboards and Chris on drums, their father B.J. Carothers on bass, and friend Mark Huff on congas and percussion.
Since the mid-sixties this band has played on hundreds of stages from coast to coast. They have shared the stage with national acts such as Poco, Brownsville Station, Wet Willie, Judas Priest, Conway Twitty, Patti Smith, The Flying Burrito Brothers, and The Michael Stanley Band.
The brothers were three-fourths of the stage band for Melanie (of Woodstock fame) for her concerts in the 70's.
This compilation of original songs exemplifies the distinctive vocal and musical style of The Robert Jeffrey Band.
