Album Notes

My lyrics and my music it's mainly based on my life experiences. I want to share my songs with all those people who have gone through the life full of struggles and happiness in the same time as I did during my early years in my native country (former Yugoslavia)where I had a fair share of struggles and on a rear occasions some happy moments too. During my studies at the "Political Science University-Belgrade" I had a chance to listen ABBA and Beatles records what made me realise that there in the world exists a much better music than Yugoslavian folk music what was my main music taste and inspiration during my teenagers years. After completing the studies at the Political Science University-Belgrade in the summer of 1988, I decided to go to England and get more involved in the Pop and Rock music since I was completely converted to a new music taste all thanks to the ABBA and the Beatles. In my first few years living in England all my attention I have concentrated on learning the English language. Then when I have done it I've decided to learn how to read the music and everything else what it goes with creating and writing the music. However, during my studies I started writing poems and lyrics in my native language Serbo-Croatian and I wrote more than 300 poems and lyrics what gave me a good basic skill to be able to write lyrics in English language as well. At first I did translated some of my poems from Serbo-Croatian language into English language to taste my writing abilities and gradually when I masterminded craft of writing in English language, then I started writing lyrics for the songs and so far I've got a collection over 200 songs written in Enlish language. I was very fortunate to be approached by the recording company "Diamond Studios" who somehow find out that I am non-performing songwriter looking for a recording company to record songs and bring my ideas to life. At first I wanted to have a few demo songs as my main hobby to help me escape from any kind of struggles what I'm going to face in my new life in England, but gradually with every new song produced by the Diamond Studios I came to the conclusion (and following the advice from my wife Christine, my working mates and from the Diamond Studios team) that my songs have a great potential and should be heard by the people around the world as well.
