notes
Is anyone out there still writing good, melodic rock and roll? Velocitee Magazine says Rick Kern is.
In their review they wrote, "This album is chock full of catchy riffs, memorable melodies and tight harmonies. Rick's substantial abilities to compose, sing and perform come through loud and clear. This is one of those albums that's over too soon. From the flashy soloing on Ride My Mind to the serene acoustic feel of Prodigal, you'll be taken on a sonic ride that you'll want to experience again and again. Don't miss this one!"

You rock man!

A must have rock album
author: Steve GattermeyerI picked up this CD after hearing Rick Kern live. I only heard a couple of the tunes at the gig but was pleasantly surprised to hear the rest! This is without question a must have CD if you're a fan of pure guitar rock and roll. Songs like Ride My Mind and Reach For The Sky give the listener a healthy dose of fat, chunky guitar tone put to riffs that totally groove and keep you wanting more when their through. The disc also features and acoustic side of Mr. Kern with songs such as Prodigal and the more rootsy sounds of Rockin' Chair. Bottom line, if you enjoy a wall of sound put out by big guitar tones and top notch, heartfelt song writing you need to buy this disc!

Rarely do I like anything I hear the first time. Maybe one track on a CD, but not the entire CD. This is great! I have been playing it over and over since I first listened to it last week. Every time I listen to it I like it better.
