It was great
author: VickieThe cd was great, lent it to a jazz lover and she also thought it was fantasic. Really love the title. I never heard Latin Jazz before and I just love the beat of it.
Crisp, tight arrangements by Rick; highly danceable!
author: mel PerezThe arrangements and performance of this CD is very reminiscent of the tight, hard "street sound" I remember in New York City back in the greatest decade for latin music, the '70's. Rick knows what material to select, and he is an ardent student of the school of latin/jazz. A must have for any collector.
Great music, great arrangements, great musicians. I loved it.
author: Arlene BerkeI loved this cd because it was true Latin Jazz and not Jazz with a bit of Latin Percussion thrown in. The piano solos were out of site, especially on the live recording of Song For My Father. Sax really grooves on the live recordings and the arrangement of Dindi was absolutely beautiful
