joshua rich wrote his first song when he was twelve years old, and never looked back. having spent his life as a professional pianist and composer, joshua has released many original CD’s, as well as Christmas and classical recordings. a father of three, joshua has been inspired to compose and perform music for kids as well. his improvisational ability has brought comparisons to the likes of mozart and keith jarret, and his unique visual style features an eye-popping fingering technique. joshua has worked with some of the biggest names in the music business, and has toured across the country; he is currently based out of the washington, d.c.. area. joshua is currently expanding his musical reach into film soundtrack work; you can find out more about joshua and listen to samples of his other CD‘s at www.joshuarich.com. joshua appreciates the chance to share his music with you.

Rain
I bought the cd “Rain” after a tip of my sister. She drew my attention to this website too. I have a lot of quiet music cd' s, they are all different, piano music but also other instruments. But I listen to piano music the most, and when I heard the trailer on the website, I immediately knew for sure that I wanted this cd. The music of “Rain” is usually lively, sometimes melancholy. I like both. I associate number 10 (“waterfall”) the most with real rain. The piano solos number 1, 3, 4 and 6 are especially beautiful, in my opinion. It also inspires me to write my stories. I am glad with this purchase.
