"I'm known for slinging an electric guitar but songwriting is just as much a part of my soul as performing and I really feel that this new CD represents, for the first time, this complete package." So states Kelly Richey of her new release Dig A Little Deeper; an 11-song recording that includes 9 originals with music and lyrics penned by Richey. Dig A Little Deeper is a stunning synthesis of Richey's talent as a guitar player, singer and songwriter.
Dig A Little Deeper captures not only the band's blues-based roots but also broadens the band's sound with the introduction of songs like "Is Anybody Listening", "It's Rainin' In My Head" and "Cracked & Bent". This effort clearly moves The Kelly Richey Band into the commercial world of adult rock while maintaining the integrity of no-holds-barred, packed-with-emotion, guitar slaying and vocal intensity that this band is known for.

Dig A Little Deeper
author: Julie HThere's just one word to describe this album...SOULFUL!!! It is a wonderful mixture of Kelly Richey's acoustic and electric guitar expertise. It showcases her blues vocal ability as well as her talented songwriting ability. The finale, "Hey Joe", is my favorite rendition of this song for all time. Give this album a listen. You will not be disappointed!
