Richard Younger's first CD for kids is mighty parent friendly, what with instantly hummable melodies and top-flight guitar playing. Think Donovan meets Buddy Holly distilled through an over-caffeinated Burl Ives and you might have some idea of the easy good-time vibe that permeates these tracks. A movement and movement teacher in downtown NYC, Richard's musical journey has traversed continents and all music styles, but his love for and understanding of kids really shines through here. The tunes are a bright as the psychedelic cover.
