Richard Wilson is a British musician and songwriter now based in Los Angeles.
As Richard Wilson states:
"The Beatles showed me what I wanted to aspire to.
I came of age during the late 70's in London and Punk showed me how to get started."
"Legacy 1981-98" is a retrospective look at the various bands ,vocalists and collaborators that Wilson worked with along the way.
This album encompasses the diverse influences of post-Punk British New Wave , 1980's pop, acoustic soul, and even 1990's UK Acid Jazz.
Never content to stay in one musical genre too long , "Legacy 1981-98" , is a good starting point to appreciate Richard Wilson's music.
