Richard Held has been performing since childhood. His skill at the piano moves well beyond ordinary. He is also a gifted writer and host of Kansas City's Living Room Show, as well as musical director for the Center for Spiritual Living, and a teacher.
This CD is in response to growing demand that he release a meditative CD. It's sure not to disapoint. Home was professionally recorded in Richard's living room on his gorgeous piano in Parkville Missouri. Listen close..........You'll hear the bluejays.
Richard Held has been active in the Kansas City musical arena since 1983. He's completed both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Piano performance. He's studied in both the United States and Europe. Having run his own teaching studio, Held has taught students as young as age 2
in both private and group settings. His work as a graduate teacher at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music earned him
an institution-wide award for excellence in teaching. He continues to teach piano privately from his home in Parkville, Missouri.
Richard Held is an active member of both Missouri Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers National Association. He remains active as a composer, arranger, pianist, producer, conductor, recording artist
and adjudicator.
His is the producer of many stage shows and has performed for such notables as Maya Angelous, Dr. Mark Victor Hanson, Yakov Smirnov, authors Marianne Williamson (A Return to Love), Victoria Moran (A Woman's Worth) and Gary Zukav (Seat of the Soul). He's collaborated with such celebrities as Laugh In's JoAnne Worley and recording artists Christopher Cross, Jim Brickman, Monique Danielle, Bukeka Shoals and others. Experienced as a presenter, his commissioned workshops are many and include such topics as team building and organizational growth. He is the producer and host of Kansas City's original entertainment/talk show, The Living Room.

Sophisticated and rich; not a typical new age product...

author: M&M&mI was feeling a little tense when I first heard this recording but I decided to just sit back and go with it. before I knew it, not only was I completely relaxed, I was ASLEEP. Thank you for this escape.
