How and in what way was the Bible "inspired by God." In the first lecture, Dr. Bailey reflects on this important topic and then turns to the question of how the New Testament books were selected for the canon of the Church. The second lecture focuses on the "seven sins of Biblical linterpretation." Many mistakes have been made in the past and we need to know where the Christians have gone astray in their methods and how those seven errors fail to unlock the secrets of God that the original authors intend the readers to understand. A case for "historical interpretation" is then made.
