notes
John Reilly's songs are simple. Period. He enjoys writing about his experiences and how his relationship with God has played a substantial role in shaping them.
This 5 song acoustic collection is comprised of tunes normally played with John's band (www.johnreillyband.com). He and his friend Kyung Lee (a guitar hero in John's book) decided to lay down each of these 5 songs in their barest form,(two acoustic guitars and one voice)-giving it an intimate coffee house feel.
Something that listeners appreciate about John's music is his lyrics. Though simple and straightforward, the words do not lack depth or poeticism. At any live performance it is common to see many audience members singing the words to John's songs - perhaps you'll do the same.

author: sarahaven't stopped listening to it since i got it...amazing uplifting honest lyrics and awesome guitar playing...can't wait to hear more from this guy who humbly uses his gifts to worship and glorify our Creator...love the song How Many Times but all are equally worthy of note
One of da best!
author: StuartHaving seen John Reilly perform with his band a couple of times and heard many of these songs before, it is refreshing to hear just the acoustic side of his music. The lyrics are straightforward, but come from the heart. This is one of the best CDs I've heard all year. Can't wait for more!
In Awe
author: HelenaThe CD offers a variety of music in its short entirety. Each song is unique in itself and offers a different mode. The lyrics are convicting and give God the glory He deserves.
Speechless!
author: Jen EabyThis CD is wonderful! I can't say enough about it. My favorite song is Chums--it sums up what we all long for--connection with others. His other songs point to the Maker of all Things: God. John's lyrics are so well written--I am blown away at his talent and I know God has plans for his humble servant. :)

This CD is very good! i like the genuine, new, fresh sound it has especially onthe bridge of "Anyplace" The CD is sooo relaxing, and a great thing to listen to when you are stressed out or busy... Just lay aside everything else and listen to some good acoutic music.
John's passion always comes through lyric and his playing.
author: timJohn's always played passionately. His lyrics are always humble and reach into the depths of his faith. After a long time of waiting he's finally decided it was time to produce a CD. I'm glad he waited, and it definitely has been worth the wait. I've known him since he started - just him and one guy,Dan, on a violin. He reaches not for perfection, but simply to do the best, giving Glory to the God he sings about.
awesome,awesome!
