The years' happening for southern rockers, bikers and hardrockers all over the world - swedish Rebel State releases their long awaited debut album "Outlaw County". Swedish steel meets cotton and corn on ten tracks of sex and drugs and rock'n'roll, renewing the days when the latter was about being part of the rebellion.
"Outlaw County" features everything in southern rock, and most things around and in between too. Bottleneck runs competing with bluesy-, funky-, and countryoozing guitar riffs, one of the most talented bassplayers ever to say the word "bullfiddle", and a real bunch of energy behind the drums makes this something completely new - Southern Rock like you never heard it before!
The haunting melodies of Lynyrd Skynyrd, the jazzy drums of early Black Sabbath, the intelligent bass runs of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rebel State can seemingly take everything they like and turn it into something own.
Most songs where written spring to fall of 2007, and recorded in three months and two different studios, allowing the outlaw pack to fully set their musical minds free and deliver musical robberies worthy the dalton brothers.
