My name is Rebekah Brooks. My parents tell me that I was singing songs before I could talk. I remember writing songs as a child and you couldn't be in any club of mine without knowing the club theme song that I made up. (Which I now know was super cheesy lyrics!) Through church I had great opportunities singing across the nation, and in Canada. I auditioned with 500 other people to sing in the Hoosier Dome in Indiana for (my greatest moment to date) and received the great honor to do it even though I was fighting nodules on my vocal chords and was told from my doctor at the time not to even speak. God has been good to me. I've seen Him do so many awesome things in my life, and He has blessed me with His annointed touch. He allowed my mother and brother a second chance at life by healing them both of cancer, and my Dad has survived a stroke and open-heart surgery... A lot of people say it's modern medicine (and I do believe to use the good sense God gave us to use medicine) but we all know that HE holds our lives in His hands... If we are alive, it's because His grace gives us breath to do it. We could be snuffed out any minute and ALL things happen for a purpose! Singing is my passion! It's almost like breathing for me... I'm so excited about this CD project, it has been a dream of mine for a long time. I thank Jack for taking the time to help me understand what all is involved and for having the patience to work around my crazy schedule. I have one album completed... BUY THE CD FOR YOUR LOVED ONES! And I have two more in the works right now! I love to travel and hope to see all the corners of the Earth. Jesus has commisioned me to bring a light to smash the darkness in this world. My dream is to visit Australia and New Zealand... I would not have had the success I have had without God giving the gift.
