The Reba Russell Band is a roots and original Blues Band based in Memphis Tennessee. They have recently released their 7th independant CD for Blue Eyed Bitches Productions titled "Bleeding Heart".
Members of the Reba Russell Band include, Reba on vocals, Wayne Russell on Bass, Robert "Nighthawk" Tooms on Keyboard and Harp, Josh Roberts on Guitar and Doug Mcminn on Drums.
"Bleeding Heart" was recorded at the Zebra Ranch in Coldwater Mississippi by Dawn Hopkins and mixed at Ardent Studios in Memphis Tennessee.
The Reba Russell Band has been together for 18 years performing in Memphis, various venues all around the US, as well as Canada, Holland, and Belguim.
Their original music written by Reba, Robert,and Wayne, along with many great Memphis area songwriters is roots based Blues. During their live shows they also perform songs from the Delta's rich Blues past.

I am trying to get them on the fare for the 2010 Sacramento Jazz Jubilee so we can have a fresh, new, spirited REAL blues band !
