"Hasko's music is a mixed bag- on one track, she's part Gary Numan, part Siouxsie Sioux ; on another she's a further-out-there Tori Amos. It's creative and challenging stuff- highly recommended for those who prefer their pop sans bubblegum."

notes
“Nominee for 'Best Album of 2006'" -Epinions Music Source.
"Inventive in both composition and musically, this is an aurally fascinating album. Dark, beautiful, highly evocative, it even tops the power of her debut. It sweeps you away into a different emotional world, and because of this it's a little difficult to describe—I just want to tell everyone to give it a listen. It's amazing." -Neile Graham, 'The Ectophile's Guide to Good Music'
"After loving her live album on emusic, I ordered Reba Hasko's studio shindig Seeds from a Twisted Pear from CDBaby, and it's absolutely utterly mind-blowingly fantastic. If the ink hadn't already thoroughly dried on my best of 2006, this would probably be near the top." (timjy@sbcglobal.net, The Ectophile's Guide to Good Music')
"Among the best of 2006." (Maria Stjarnell, 'The Ectophile's Guide to Good Music')
The follow up to her live, acoustic album “Live at Studio 43,” Hasko wrote, recorded, programmed and produced her latest record "Seeds from the Twisted Pear" in Berlin, Germany. She has since returned to the US and is writing and recording in New Mexico.

Highly recommended!!!
author: kasiaOne of the best albums of the XXI century!!!Really, I mean it!!!Those who love Tori Amos will certainly love the song "Kitten"!People who like catchy and pure vocals with extremely harmonious and ethereal music should buy Reba's new record instantly!Just listen to such brilliant songs as "Gardenia", "Dusty", "Here's How", "Shoo Fly" or "Death by Facelift" and you become convinced at once!!!I find it very hard to get Reba's beautiful melodies out of my head!!!
Brilliant
author: annaI reviewed Reba Hasko’s last record a while back and that was a live record. This more fully orchestrated record arrives and it’s unusual and interesting. Hasko’s as quirky as Regina Spektor or Gabriela Kulka and as good. “Here’s how” is an oddly compelling opener with strings and a nice vocal lead dominating. “Kitten” is a haunting, sparse ballad that Hasko does well. It’s a little bit like early Tori Amos. “Heat Electricity Wire” is a minimalistic track that brings Laurie Anderson to mind. “Dusty” sees Hasko use her piano and a sinuous vocal leads. She’s an intriguing and exciting artist and she’s worth looking into if you like something a bit different
In a word: Perfect Reba
author: Michael DowlingSpicy. Electric. Moody. Beautiful. Relaxing yet provocative. Engaging. Trancipotic (yes, I just made this up - entrancing and hypnotic all at once). In a word: perfect reba.
