If you like Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers or the Clifford Brown/Max Roach Quintet you'll love this one. Larry Lunetta and Doug Webb's ensemble playing and soloing are outstanding.

Edmundson and Oldfield have brought together some dynamic talents but as a bass player I must say, Dave Stone is an inspiration. His tone and execution on "The Bottom Line" is the highlght of this CD.

4 out of 5 stars really original be-bop with great players

Some of the best original be bop tunes I've heard in years and flawlessly executed by these musicians. They may not be household names, but the bio on these guys are impressive. Outstanding!!!
