Republic Bank Angel Harps, founded in 1965, is Grenada's oldest Steel Orchestra. Located in the Capital City of St. George's in the picturesque Carenage area, the Harps as they are affectionately known, are Grenada's most successful steel orchestra.
Angel Harps has won the national Panorama competition a total of twelve times, more than any other steelband and are the current reigning 2008 panorama champions.
"A Christmas Journey in Steel" was recorded live at a Christmas concert staged at the St. George's University in Grenada and features a range of Christmas songs in a variety of musical styles - from Caribbean calypso, to Jazz to Classical - that really brings home the true feeling of the Holiday Season.
