Based in North Carolina, Razzor Dixxon is headed by the
dynamic duo of Dale Lepiarz and Doug Smith. Despite the
metal-appearing name, their sound is a rootsy blending
of Americana, folk, rock, country and a little blues.
Their new debut Wild Oats Records CD features 10 fine
top-notch Lepiarz/Smith originals, and some excellent singing and playing. Whether it's the down-home sound
of "Just Thinkin' About It", the touching "Mary Rides
Shotgun" or the bluesy, rockin' "Guilt By Association",
Razzor Dixxon comes across with music that is always
fresh, honest and unpretentious. The CD was produced
by Steve Haggard, and features guest appearances by
John Kearns, David Russell and others.
