Great stuff
author: AdamLove the album. Foxhunters and Butler's in the Pantry are the best of solid instrumental tunes you can find. And of course, we all want to be "Pretty Too" !!! Well done!
Another Great CD
author: Maurice FrankI really like this CD, and I am a big fan of Rathkeltair. The title track is fantasitic, and the instrumentals are wonderful too.
Big White Van
author: CindThe CD is great, but you have got to see them live! I was a huge fan of Trevor's to begin with, and this led me to Rathkeltair. I never thought I would be blasting bagpipes from my Jeep stereo, but it has happened! I walk around work singing "King for a Day" and am met with confused glances...
Good album
author: Joe O'CI like the album a lot the only problem I have is that there is just a lot of music which was already available on "live" the first RKA album. As much as Everybody was largely a Neil album this is a Trevor album. Joe

Ahhh, one more reason why this is my favorite Celtic Rock band in the whole WIDE world!! From the title song, Big White Van that makes me smile, to the soul-searching, somewhat sad, Geese...and all the songs in-between...I love this CD. All I can say is buy it!!
Wonderful, as always!
author: Kaysi HastingsThese guys NEVER disappoint! It has been way too long since I've seen them live...
New Favorite!
author: JeanieI didn't think this cd could possibly be as good as their last one. Wow, was I wrong!! So much fun and energy with songs that really stick in your head.

A desert island-worthy CD
author: Courtney LaDahlThe title track certainly gives us a feel for life as a touring musician but lyrically the entire CD instills the listener with a deep desire to join them. Being constantly on the road must be tedious, but the prolific Tanner's catchy and inspired lyrics make the rest of us easily assume the ride couldn't possibly be a boring one. You can almost feel his mischievous wink at times, the production value of "Big White Van" allowing the listener to pick up such subtle nuances, a noticable improvement compared to "Everybody", and that's a fantastic album. Neil Anderson, known as the Antipypr, shows us why he's named as such - we're left wondering how the hell he does it, proof is only in seeing them live. Drummer Watson never disappoints, and it's a sweet surprise to realize his vocal participation within the title track. Previously unavailable in studio form, "Pretty Too" is fast becoming a festival classic. I'm personally thrilled to have that song available to me on command; a standard that Rathkeltair manages to keep fresh and relevant for this new release. From heart grabbing instrumentals and touching ballads like "Geese" to the overwhelming rock-the-house tunes that epitomize the genre of Celtic Rock, "Big White Van" is a CD that stays in the player and is officially on the list of five CDs I'd want to have with me if stranded on a desert island. To Rathkeltair, thank you so very much for "Big White Van". Next time you play Zephyrhills, I won't miss one set.
Big White Van is the REEL DEAL!
author: Jimmie J.Rathkeltair has outdone themselves this time! A truly kick-ass follow-up to "Everybody." Some brand new songs from Trevor ("Poser's Curse" is vintage Tanner) and some of the best celtic rock I have ever heard anywhere from anyone! Check out tr. 8 especially- Neil in all his full-tilt glory, blowin those bags like only he can. If you liked "Everybody" you will LOVE the Big White Van!! Can't wait to see these guys live again- just when I think they've taken it as high as it will go, they kick it up another transcendental notch!! If you only have one celtic rock CD on your shelf, it ought to be this one- period.
