DRUMS N' FLUTES: The soul of acoustic with the edge of electronics.
Utilizing live looping and effects, this husband and wife duo push their music beyond the boundaries of notes and rhythm into realms of texture and cinematic soundscapes.
Ellen Burr plays all flutes and wind instruments. Steve Burr plays hand drums and ethnic percussion as well as a unique set up of found objects.
They masterfully alter acoustic instruments with electronic effects in a live improvisational context.
All tracks were recorded live and mastered without over dubs.
