Hit by hit Jimmy & The Rackets conquer the European charts. "My Soul" enters the Top Ten. "Pretend", "Only You", "Black Eyes" and a hit-album follow. "Skinny Minnie" hits the top and remains 32 weeks in the charts, pushing the Beatles' "A Hard Day's Night" from number one. The Rackets tour the United Kingdom with The Beatles, The Kinks, The Who and countless other stars.
At Berlin's "Waldbühne" stadium, on the Rolling Stones' first European tour, 26'000 fans set the chairs on fire during the Rackets' pre-heating set. For Mick Jagger & Co. there wasn't much left to do that evening. The Rackets appear on international TV- and radio-shows and celebrate spectacular live shows.
Today Jimmy & The Rackets drive high-powered, raw Rock'n'Roll with spontaneous virtuosity, combining solid Rock'n'Roll roots with today's sounds.
