"Hot Rod Club - The Originals" is a 7 song limited release fan club CD. It is a follow up CD to the bands first full length retail release, "Live In Chicago". The CD contains a collection of the bands original recordings and 1 additional song, "Hot Roddin' Little Momma". The tracks on this recording display the band's self proclaimed "HOT RODDIN' ROCK N' BLUES" style of music that is bursting with high octane energy and fuel injected fun. This powerhouse band of Chicago based musicians features soulful vocals, harmonica, sizzling guitar, a dynamic rhythm section and a classic B3 Hammond organ with Leslie speaker cabinet tone. Collectively the band creates a sound that is spontaneous, raw and improvisational.
SONGS:
The slow burner "Got Me A Ticket" and the funky, R&B inspired "Love Reaction" are two of the bands most popular songs!
"Cold Wind Blowin'" is a great example of the bands improvisational blues rock style. This song has won numerous song writing awards!
"Travelin' Blues" was also released as a single on the BEST BUY Blues Sampler CD, "We're Happy To Bring You The Blues". It features full on slide guitar playing and charted in the TOP 50 on iSound.com!

Best of Modern Chicago Blues
author: Greenwich Village NYCFinally we get to hear a great new CD from an emerging Chicago blues band. If this is a limited release then I want to hear more, this band will soon be hot rodding all the way past the finish line. The songs are original and rabble rousing cool, over the top modern blues.
