Q-ILL started to rap in 1995.
Q-ILL is a pioneer in a style of playing with a band instead of a DJ, and actively plays in Machida [MCD], the southern edge of Tokyo, as a foothold but all over Japan.
Q-ILL's lyrics with his own point of view have grown up and built up a unique genre as a broken-literature and attracts many audience.
Through the major deals in Japan such as co-starring with GROUP HOME, acting as a curtain raiser for PHARCYDE, Q-ILL has launched the 4th album from his own label, BROKENWORDZ LABEL.
Q-ILL is one of the most important person for the Tokyo underground HIP HOP scene.

author: danny wangUm..Although i do listen to stuff like Nujabes...and Dj tonk etc..But both cats invited many US/Uk mcs in their works..But Q-ill made same quality innovative beat with its mother language-Japanese..Though i don't listen lots rap in japanese..but this album really flow together really well!
