Matt Pugliese- History and Bio

Matt Pugliese is ready to make the jump. After playing in a number of successful Jersey-shore based bands, he is finally fulfilling his destiny. That is, he is leading his own self- titled group. The music is 100% original Matt Pugliese. His sound is both smooth, yet edgy, and has been compared to Beck, At The Drive In, and Coldplay.

Since moving to Red Bank, NJ, Matt has lent his talents to many groups including Hot Dog Truck (featuring The Aerialist), Kabuki 5000, Blue Sun(featuring members of former Interscope recording artists, Burlap to Cashmere), Lovetester(featuring accomplished musicians from Project Object), plus a number of other well respected projects. Now Matt,in his late 20's, is in full control. He has written and co-produced his first solo effort titled, River Plaza. Matt plays the guitars, drums, keys, percussion and vocals.

Matt has played many venues in NJ,NY,PA,VA, and RI including, but not limited to, the world famous Stone Pony, The Fast Lane,The Trade Winds, The Saint, plus a number of colleges. In the very near future, Matt will be playing a series of solo acoustic gigs while he gets his band prepared for showcasing and touring. In the meantime, he is concentrating on promoting his new CD via radio and the internet.

Now that Matt Pugliese is really in full control of his music, he is ready to take on the music world by storm. He has already created quite a buzz and the CD,as of this writing, has yet to be officially released. So keep an ear out, because with his well crafted, listener-friendly songs Matt is sure to be around a long time.
