Elements has an uncanny ability to connect with listeners. Perhaps that’s because it was written at a pivotal period in Anna’s life. While coping with her mother’s diagnosis of Alzheimer’s and an existential crisis of her own, the compositions on this CD literally poured out of her. The result is a musical tapestry of rich emotions and haunting melodies. If there is one resounding theme in Elements, it is hope.

“...I put track 8 on repeat and wrote to it for two hours.”
--David Gordon Green, Director of critically-acclaimed film George Washington

“...I haven’t heard anything like this in 10 years.”
--William Stiles, Conductor/Former Juilliard Professor

“...Anna’s music is incredible.”
--Janisse Ray, Author of Ecology of a Cracker Childhood

“...it sent me to ‘another place’”
--Dianne Kern, Occupational Therapist

“...very moving...great therapy.”
--Leslie Cleaver, LCSW

Anna began studying classical music at age eight, and was the recipient of both the IVS and Chicago Academy for the Arts scholarships. Currently residing in Chicago, she has performed at the Chicago Botanic Gardens, Around the Coyote Festival, Sulzer Library, and numerous other venues. With clear classical and Irish influences (her mother was born and raised in Ireland), Anna's music has been compared to Enya, Michael Nyman, George Winston, and even Debussy. Selections from Elements have been featured in a variety of independent films as well as on NPR's Morning Edition and Open Mic. In addition, the song "Eye of the Sequoia" aired on The Weather Channel, and "Ocean" was the inspiration for a dance piece by San Diego choreographer Christina Kelley.

  • Love it

I saw Anna play at a local Borders Books in the coffee shop about 3 years ago. I was blown away. I bought the CD on the spot and have listened to it literally hundreds, if not a thousand, times since then. Introspective, melodic, expressive, thematic, timeless, and classic.

What a beautiful CD of piano music! I've enjoyed listening to the various pieces while I dive and while working in the photo studio. Bravo to Anna!

a beautiful cd reminds me of early Keith Jarrett with a mix of George Benson yet it feels totally new and different

  • wonderful emotion on the piano

I heard this piano music on NPR's Morning Edition. I had to seek it out. Like George Winston and others, Anna's music takes you to a magical place. I encourage anyone to purchase this fine music.

  • an emotional tour de force

This cd is incredible. There isn't a bad song on it. You can play it over and over and it never gets old. Puccinelli really captures and portrays a wide range of emotions. There are more memorable melodies on this disc than on ten typical discs. I've bought ten for gifts... much better than the typical bottle of wine.

  • One of the best instrumental CD's I've listened too...
    author: Jan

A friend intoduced me to Anna's music and this amazing CD. I love instrumental piano music. I listen to it quite often, actively or in the background. Some of the songs are very soothing and relaxing (my favarote is Ocean) but still intense. She has a website on which she announces a new CD ... can not wait. By the way this makes for a nice and easy birthday, Christmas or motherday's gift.
