Chicago based Proswell's sophomore album, twenty tracks of uniquely nostalgic and wickedly melancholic 8-bit pop. In contrast to his 2002 debut "Konami", "Carrot Dossier" is upbeat and energetic.

notes
"Carrot Dossier" is Chicago based Proswell's sophomore album, twenty tracks of uniquely nostalgic and wickedly melancholic 8-bit pop. In contrast to his 2002 debut "Konami", "Carrot Dossier" is upbeat and energetic, and the selections are presented in a playful but meticulous precession. Proswell's previous material includes his last album "Konami" and appearances on various Merck compilations including Squadron and Half the Battle. Fans of melodic electronic music are assured satisfaction.

One of THE greatest albums of the decade, period!
author: mrlederhosenCarrot Dossier is highly original, creative and optimistic in its general vibe, yet also intense and brooding at times. Listening to this album is an audio rollercoaster, and will make you feel like a better person for having experienced it. It contains sounds that normally don't sound very exciting on their own, but Proswell blends them and bends them to make a symphony of electronic joy. Top notch stuff, probably my favourite album since mu-ziq's 1997 'Lunatic Harness'.
