Classic rock with a modern twist. This music has the same feel as some of rock's great classics, mixed with modern styles. This is the kind of music you wish they were still making. Guess what? We are.

notes

Just what is Project-43? That's a pretty good question, with a pretty interesting answer. Project-43 is a relatively new collaboration between musicians over the Internet. The members are located in five separate locations around the globe. Three are in the US (Arizona, Wisconsin & New York), one in Finland and one in Scotland. It really is a true Internet Band creating true Internet Rock. As strange as it may seem, none of them have ever met face to face. Thank goodness for the marvels of modern technology!!

To date, Project-43 has created over twenty original Rock & Roll songs that have an amazing quality that would challenge even the best industry professionals to know that these people have never played in the same room together. The release of their debut CD, "Silence the Quiet" is sure to turn some heads and ears as the guys pump out ten of their newest songs. One thing that will be clear when listening, is the classic rock/metal influence. Project-43 takes pride in honoring their roots and putting a classic vibe on to their modern music. From the first song, "Exit" all the way to the end with "Into the Black", you will be sure hear the influences and appreciate the modern take on them.

This CD is remarkable in that it was produced in 5 separate locations around the globe without any of the members actually being in the same room. EVER. We think it's a sneak peak into the not so distant future. Or, as we like to say, Project-43: The Future of Classic Rock!

  • Classic rock - 21st century style - THANK GOD!!

Been listening to Project 43 on myspace religiously. CDbaby are very efficient as it took only a week for the CD to be shipped from the US to the UK. I only wish the album contained all 23 songs so that it included 'All Thru The Night', 'Envy' and 'Winged Horses'. But I'm not complaining - only £6 for awsome rock n roll. I would have payed that price for 'Is Tonight The Night' alone.

"Silence The Quiet" from Project 43 is a cool debut album, showcasing a range of diverse styles all within the melodic rock barrier... and in turn it sounds quite professional and slick. ...by the albums end, you are actually left wanting more, it's easy going on the listener and covers a diverse range of styles and influences that keeps the flow interesting.

  • Really cool classic heavyrock!

This CD has songs that are very reminiscent of old-skool Iron Maiden and maybe some Queensryche, but there's a modern twist too with some excellent tunes like 'Running Scared'. Well worth recommending to anyone who likes classic heavy!!!

Project-43 is one of those rare bands that exhibits chemistry between it's members, an amazing fact considering they produce their music from separate locations. Their sound harkens back to the raw roots of rock and continually draws your hand to the volume control to crank it up just a little bit more... Rock, how it was meant to be played and heard!
