BEER Drinkin, FUNKYASS, SOUTHERN flavored BLUES/ROCK with a Dangerously Edgy FEMALE Vocals

notes

The Prior Bros. Band is a collection of REAL musicians from different sides of life. The 2 brothers are John & Mark Prior.
John writes the music, guitar, bass, 2nd keys,
lyrics,produces and engineers.
Mark Plays the Drums and percussion. Together John & Mark started out doing time in some of the worst venues in the
Twins. You gotta start somewhere. Ten years of working our way up and out gives us a certain perspective which helps in the writing.
John started taking lessons in 3rd grade and was lucky
to have had some great teachers. He has played for
several bands over the years and he has always written
music but just now has gotton the opportunity to record.
Mark actually started out playing the trumpet.
It's a good thing he picked up the sticks. TRUST ME.
John & Mark played for anyone who called. Rock,
Country, Swing, it didn't matter what. just so they
kept playing. Some call it JOBBIN or WHORIN but its important you keep playing every night.
Jenn Usellis hails from Chicago.
Her dangerously edgy vocals gives the high
powered attack needed for this style of music.
Jimmy Steinworth is a world class key player and
we are so lucky to get to work with him. The piano and
BIG LESLIE work Jimmy did on the CD was perfect.
Jimmy is the kind of player that you just turn on
the tape and get out of his way. A pro's-pro.
There were also two other key players on the CD.
Rob "Dirtknapp" Vacanti & Bruce "Crash" Bail.
Tim Skogen played Bass with Mark in a wedding band
and now plays for the best show band in the cities.
Steve Cooper plays sax for The Groove Hoggs
and can be seen all over America and parts of
Europe.

From start to finish you can't wait to hear what the next song is about. Each has a flair and style all it's own. Very impressed.

  • Love the music, especially the guitar. Country Girl best.

  • Great melodies - choruses that elevate the song further

Excellent musicianship. The songs are radio songs as well as great jamming party music. I'm buying a copy!
