Born and raised in the island of St.Vincent and the Grenadines, PRIMADONNA has been singing all her life but entered show biz officially at age 13 through a former teacher/musician, who invited her to sing at a concert with his band. After that, there was no turning back. She became known as "the lady with the big voice" Her popularity won her the title of "Best Female Vocalist" 3 years consecutively at the St.Vincent's Annual Music Awards. It seemed that PRIMADONNA was destined to be in the spotlight. Besides singing, she earned a Karate Black Belt at age 11, studied modeling, acting/dance and performed throughout the Grenadines. In the island's yearly Carnival festival, she won "Princess of Carnival" for 3 years in a row. When she turned 16, she became the youngest person ever to win "Queen of Carnival" earning her a place in the island's stamp archives.
By her late teens, PRIMADONNA knew in her heart what her calling was and was driven to pursue singing further. She began writing, recording original songs, singing in various bands and even formed her own groups to perform. PRIMADONNA decided to move to New York City to expand her horizon. She has sung in various clubs - showcasing her style. She performed alongside popular Carribean bands and entertainers. She has so far performed for Aretha Franklin, Star Jones, Johnny Cochran, Chevy Chase, Cindy Crawford, Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer and many more. PRIMADONNA has an excitingly charismatic presence, and her group carries such a great vibe that is really "catching."
