notes

Pretty Miss Norma Jean has just recorded her first album in over ten years. "Loneliest Star In Texas" was produced by famed Texas producer Justin Trevino and recorded in San Marcos, Texas. It was released on the Heart of Texas label based in Brady, Texas. Heart of Texas Records prides themselves in traditional Country Music.

The CD also contains guest appearances by Wanda Jackson and Buck Trent.

The material is a mix between great standards and brand new songs written especially for Norma Jean. Songs include:"Let's Go All The Way" "Loneliest Star In Texas" "Anita You're Dreaming" "Honky Tonk Hardwood Floor" "In The Middle of A Heartache" "Before The Last Teardrop Dries" "Crying Over You" "Making Plans" "Ashes of Love" (Duet with Wanda Jackson) "My Heart Skips A Beat" "Please Come Back With My Heart" "Good Morning" "Introduction To Pretty Miss Norma Jean" "Pretty Miss Norma Jean" (By Wanda Jackson) and "Go Cat Go."

Norma's best friend in the music business, Wanda Jackson, sings a beautiful tribute song written about Norma's life titled "Pretty Miss Norma Jean." That song is sure to become a classic. Norma's voice is superb and this project was recorded in 2004 and completed in April of 2005.

The finest Texas musicians were used on the project including Justin Trevino on Bass, Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar and Harmony Vocals, Buck Trent on Electric Banjo, Bobby Flores on Fiddle, Dickie Overby on Steel Guitar, Levi Mullen on Lead Guitar, Jim Lossberg on Drums, Ron Huckabee on Piano and other Harmony Vocals by Yellow Rose Recording artist Amber Digby.

Pretty Miss Norma Jean was an original part of the Porter Wagoner Television show and was a regular member of the World's Famous Grand Ole Opry. She is now appearing at the Branson Mall Theater with Cowboy Church each Sunday morning and her own Country show every Tuesday morning.
