(About MP3 downloads at CD Baby)

Porlolo is watery and dark, feeling and mysterious-- a wide-eyed yet whimsical look at the cracked earth of a by-gone day.

notes

"Porlolo is the closest thing you will get to a murder between lovers. And while none of it has to do with anything physical, Erin Roberts' dark folk infusion can be violent in its exploration of emotions and everything murky, watery and mysterious."
-- Syntax Magazine

"Equally adept at holding court on a Denver Square front porch as on the Bluebird stage, Porlolo sways and shivers through a folk-rock set of songs perfect for a summer evening. Until a few months later, when those songs become perfect for an autumn night, and so on."

There's not a thing about this album I would change. I love her voice, lyrics, and the music behind it all. It's both earthy and alien and I can't stop listening to it.

Great CD!! It's rare that i like every song on a CD, but i like all these. Good music and great voice.

Beautiful music, quiet and fierce. Heard "saw your head" on the radio in Boston (wers). Feels great to support talent by buying the CD. CD Baby is great too.

  • Sweet, haunting and fun

This is the first actual physical CD I've bought in years. Heard Porlolo on Pandora and had to have it. Mellow, sweet, sad and fun all at the same time. The whole album is amazing.
