notes
Jayme Pohl is an up-and-coming voice in the new generation of singer-songwriters. She offers her honest, heartfelt originals with crystal clear and highly expressive singing. As a child in small town Indiana, Jayme began her career at county fairs and local churches. Her interest in music led her to pursue a degree in classical voice. In 1999 she returned to her mid-western roots and began to compose folk and roots country inspired music. This past year was marked by performances in small cafes and bars and the release of her first full-length album The Truth and Other Oddities. This debut couples her striking voice with an eclectic compositional style and high quality finger style guitar.
