notes
"REFLECTIONS IN THE STREAM" is the third CD in Nashville-
based Wild Oats Records' "Singer/Songwriter Series", and it
maintains the high level of quality established by the two
previous releases in the series, "Mighty Above All Things" and "Signs Of The Times". "REFLECTIONS IN THE STREAM" marks
the Oat debut of four distinctive, very talented artists. Pete Lampron has a very eclectic style (rock/folk/blues), and his songs often have spiritual themes. Jay Brandt's
very interesting music blends folk, pop, swing and a bit
of country. Elliott Frisby is a dynamic singer, and writes
songs mixing rock, pop and country elements. Van Almen's very enjoyable style combines country, folk and some '50s
rock influences. Each of the four artists has carved out his own personal musical niche, and we believe you'll find
all four well worth hearing.
