notes
In the studio they have always been among the very best but on stage they invariably turn the burners way up. A live recording at BB King's on Beale Street?
This is the CD I've been waiting for. Blow Rod, Blow!
Dan Forte, Music Journalist
You'd dig around a long time to find a better band. If there is one out there, I've never heard them. The world-famous music critic Pete Welding says, "For anyone with ears to hear, it should be readily apparent that Rod Piazza is one of the very best blues performers currently active." This writer would concur and add that as far as I know, there is not now nor has there ever been, a better harp player.

I will be playing at least one cut a week from this CD on my new show, "Mostly Blues" on KCLU 88.3 FM in Ventura County and 102.3 FM in Santa Barbara to begin as soon as the present Sunday evening contract expires. Which cuts are the artist's favorites? Stephen "Uncle Steve" Millich
