Perry has been writing songs for over 35 years. His material draws on rich life experiences, which include growing up in rural eastern Canada, traveling the world while in the U.S. Navy and surviving the hi-tech rat race of Silicon Valley in California. He now lives with his wife Lucille on six acres of riverfront property in the woods of Oregon.
Perry's first full-length CD entitled "Just Devine" was recorded at ASR Studios in Brookings, Oregon with the help of the members of the band Houston Jones, Including: Travis Jones, Glenn Houston, Chojo Jacques, Peter Tucker and Chris Kee. These seasoned veterans took Perry's well-crafted songs to amazing new heights, resulting in a CD that is sure to please all fans of Americana music.
Perry attends the Americana Song Academy in Sisters, Oregon, every year, where he receives intensive instruction and one-on-one mentoring from some of the finest songwriters in the country, including: Ruthie Foster, Darrell Scott, Keith Greeninger, Ellis Paul, Harry Manx, Dennis McGregor, Johnsmith, Susan Werner, Joe Craven, Rosalie Sorrels, Jud Caswell, Willy Porter, Jonathan Byrd, Stephen Fearing, Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen.

author: Debra DavidsonI grew up with Perry in CANADA, and call his Dad Uncle Lee. I fell in love with this album the minute I heard it. My parents put it in their car and we are in it alot! My Dad sings along and that is rare! It brings a smile to my Mom (and that's hard to do these days too! (lol) I absolutely will recommend this cd to my friends and I've already bought a couple extra. I have to say my favourite song is "Just Devine" as it really brings back memories (good ones). Well so does "How the music makes you feel" so I admit my favourite changes from minute to minute. Keep up the great work Perry and please ensure to let me know when the next cd is available!

author: Joe DevineI hadn't seen Perry in years. In 1995 I planned a family reunion up (as Perry put it) at the old farm in Northern Thorne Quebec. Perry arrived and unpacked his guitar and the party started. His songs about family life are great and do bring back wonderful memories. I was on that boat with his Dad Lee and my Dad Clinton in the Gulf the day he caught the sail fish and yes we were air borne and Lee ended up through the bunk of the boat down into the hull. I won't forget it and now it's in song. Well done Perry! The album sounds great and I wish y'all the best. Cheers!!!

This CD has been a long time coming. It's filled with heartfelt songs, some from years ago, yet they seem to be written for today! 'Make A Change' could be a theme in the 2008 campaign. The more romantic songs are timeless. The biographical tune are funny and show a personal side that makes anyone listening feel like an old friend. Best of all, they are wonderful recordings of some very insightful and musically delightful ideas we all can enjoy! Bravo!
