Combining passionate vocals with meaningful lyrics, Anthony crafts with each song a musical experience that resonates within the listener.
Anthony Pero has been serving God with his gifts since 1995. He began leading worship and working in occupational ministry at Racine Assembly of God in 1999. Later that year, he was fortunate enough to travel with the Celebrant Singers, an inter-denominational music missions organization. He traveled with them for seven months. In his time with Celebrants, he played in 48 states, and five countries, including Poland, and Mexico.
Anthony returned home in 2000, renewed in spirit and purpose after his seven month missions trip. He resumed his duties at Racine A/G, leading worship more frequently, writing songs for special events, and performing at various churches throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. In 2001, he rejoined the Celebrant Singers for ministry in the country of Venezuela.
Anthony recorded his first studio album, Determined, in the fall of 2001. Determined was recorded at Girder Mode Studios in Chicago with Christian industry veteran Rex Carroll, and the two quickly became friends. Their teamwork led to collaborations such as "Holy One," and "Gracious God."
In 2004, Anthony took 3rd place at the GMA Song of the Year contest at the Seminar in the Rockies in Estes Park, CO.
