notes
Virtuosi di Los Angeles was the beginning of an ensemble composed of Russian String players and American Woodwind players here in Los Angeles. The group only recorded this one album, but there are plans for more recordings in the future. The fact that it was recorded one on a part gives special emphasis to the artistry of all the players in the ensemble.
I am very happy with the general quality both of the sound in the recording as well as the ensemble playing. It was a joy to make this record, as we all loved the music on it. We hope that fans of Baroque Music will enjoy the performances as much as we had fun making the recording.
